Judi Armbruster: Married to an Iron River, Wisconsin, man, now living in the remote rural area along the Klamath River, CA. "Ha'a" means yes in the Karuk language.

There is a trail
Down through the tall cedar.
Down to the River.
The Sun shines
In shafts of gold
And makes patterns
On the Red dirt.
The light glistens and dances
On the Water.
I sit on a boulder
Flat and gray.
That lies partway in the River.
I feel warmth,
From the Rock,
From the Sun,
From deep inside my Soul.
I listen for the Water's Voice.
It speaks to me.
I feel Peace.
I am Peace.
All is Sacred.
I am Sacred.
